Abstract

From the cultural distances about the notions related to “disability” an
exegetical and socio-scientific analysis of Mk 3,1-6 is presented. The contributions
of medical and sensory anthropology are taken into account to understand the subversion
of Jesus’ actions, but, above all, of the marginalized characters who are the
ones who take the initiative against society. Finally, it advocates a transformation
of the vocabulary and the recreation of metaphors in pastoral environments that
break the logic of “we”-“they” because, from the margins proposed by the evangelical
story, there is no such dimension of inclusion-exclusion.
